The case against Aaron Hernandez has taken all types of turns, and
the latest development might be the most devastating since his arrest.
According to Examiner.com,
police say they have a witness in custody that actually heard the
former-New England Patriots tight end confess to the murder of Odin
Lloyd. According to police documents in Miramar, Florida, they have a
witness who cites a witness. The information in this telephone relay
game is that Hernandez allegedly confessed to firing the shots that
killed Lloyd.
As of now there are two other men in custody because they are
believed to have been with Hernandez the night of the shooting. Oddly
enough, these are the two witnesses that cite one another about
Hernandez’s confession. This should come as no surprise as these two men
may be looking for leniency with their upcoming sentence. It’s the
classic ‘Prisoner’s Dilemma’ and it appears as if these two guys have
chosen the strategy to snitch.
I think we can be sure about one thing: Aaron Hernandez is never
going to set foot on a football field ever again. In fact, he may never
breathe free air again. It’s a terrible story, and I know individuals
are innocent until proven guilty, but there is a significant amount of
evidence against Hernandez. I would be shocked if he came off clean from
this one.
